When we say ‘in perpetuity’ at The Woodlands, we mean more than until death do us part. The cemetery serves as a space for the celebration of life, love, nature, family, and history.

In order to continue this work into the future, The Woodlands needs its community to support its continued care and preservation.

The Woodlands is an asset to neighbors for more than just recreation—people choose this space to be both their permanent resting place and where their family comes together to celebrate loved ones for generations.

Families today enjoy these 54 acres in much the same way as intended at the founding of the cemetery in 1840— walking, picnicking with family, escaping the noise of the city, gardening, and admiring vibrant fall foliage before winter arrives. We are invested in using the layered history of The Woodlands to inspire our aspirational future.
